We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join our clients manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and monitoring CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision components in line with engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Load tooling, set offsets, and make basic programme adjustments where required.
• Conduct first-off and in-process inspections using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometres, and gauges.
• Ensure components meet quality and dimensional requirements.
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and housekeeping.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating and setting CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring and inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Siemens controls is advantageous.
