Data Architect Duration: 6 months Location: Telford (2 days per week onsite) Clearance: SC IR35: Mandated PAYE onlyWe are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join a new scrum team. The project focuses on delivering ingestion and risking capabilities within the SAS platform, following a successful proof of concept designed to identify and prevent fraudulent SA registrations using data from multiple enterprise sources. Responsibilities include: Designing, maintaining and updating data models aligned to enterprise standards Defining and supporting data architecture, including metadata, integration and data warehousing Performing data profiling and source system analysis across multiple data sources Supporting data governance, assurance and compliance with data policy Contributing to data dictionaries and metadata repositories Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Supporting problem management through root-cause analysis and preventative measures Experience required: Proven experience working as a Data Architect in complex data environments Strong understanding of data modelling principles and reverse-engineering live systems Experience defining data standards and assessing impacts of non-compliance Knowledge of metadata management and integration architecture patterns Ability to translate business problems into effective data design solutions Experience working within Agile or scrum delivery teams
