Restaurant Manager

We are looking for an incredible Restaurant Manager to join our FandB team at The Retreat, Elcot Park located in West Berkshire.Our 55-bedroom hotel has been transformed to offer bespoke designed bedrooms, two new exciting restaurant concepts, a state of the art spa with hot and cold tubs on the lawn, and many more experiences to offer our guests in the heart of the Berkshire countryside.

Our ideal candidate would possess the below experiences or skills:Have at least 2 years'' experience in a premium restaurant or hotel environment.Lead FandB management meetings and service briefings, plan ahead and create effective marketing strategies to drive footfall.Deliver and supervise meetings and events across the hotel, in close partnership with the Sales and Events teamOversee training and personal development plans for the FandB team, by partnering closely with the Group Learning and Development Manager, and ensuring each team member are given the necessary tools to deliver exceptional service.Support in monitoring standard operating procedures across the FandB department, driving their adoption and ensuring their effectiveness to enable the team to deliver to the defined service standards.Review complaints and guest feedback in a timely manner, ensuring service recovery strategies are put in place to manage guest expectations.Ensure that all company rules and regulations relating to Hygiene, Health and Safety are being strictly adhered to and recorded correctly.Support with recruitment and onboarding of new team members, as and when required.
