Internal Audit - Assistant Manager - Banking

About the Role As an Internal Audit Assistant Manager within the Banking Risk Consulting Team, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of internal audit, and other risk-based services, to a range of banking and building society clients. Primarily, the team provide outsourced and co-sourced internal audit services, however we also provide (or support other teams with the delivery of) a range of risk-based engagements including board effectiveness reviews and external quality assessments, to name but a few. Having experienced significant growth, the team are looking for a motivated individual, who will have excellent opportunities for progression. Attributes, Knowledge and Experience Holds either ACA, CA, ACCA, IIA or CII (or equivalent) qualification. Experience of planning and delivering internal audit fieldwork. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good understanding of the UK regulations applicable to Financial Services (specifically Banks, Building societies, non-bank lenders) Good understanding of requirements under MCOBs for Regulated loans Good understanding of key banking functions including credit risk management and underwriting, compliance, arrears management, credit operations, deposits, payments, etc. Good interpersonal and client handling skills.
