Could you spot where a young player is going wrong and explain, in simple terms, how they could improve? LearnChess Academy is looking for people with genuine chess knowledge to help children develop their game across Kent and South East London. Ideally, you will be a competent chess player, possibly rated; please explain your chess experience as a player, and if you have had the opportunity to coach or teach. The role This is more than teaching children how the pieces move. As a Chess Coach, you ll observe games, recognise mistakes and opportunities, understand a student''s thinking and help them develop better decision-making, tactics and overall game awareness. We are looking for experienced Chess Coaches and Lead Coaches, but we also welcome applications from developing players interested in Assistant Coach/Coach Support positions.
