Teaching Assistant - Behaviour and Additional NeedsContract: Full-time / Long-termStart Date: As soon as possibleAbout the RoleSimply Education are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join one of our partnered schools in cheshire This role involves supporting pupils with behavioural, social, and emotional needs (SEMH) to help them achieve their full potential in a nurturing, inclusive environment.This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about behaviour support, emotional regulation, and inclusive education, particularly within alternative provision or SEMH settings.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural or additional learning needs.Assist teachers with lesson delivery, classroom organisation, and positive behaviour management.Promote pupil engagement, emotional resilience, and social development through encouragement and consistency.Support pupils using de-escalation strategies and evidence-based behaviour interventions.Contribute to a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment for all learners.Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to ensure effective pupil progress and wellbeing.RequirementsExperience working with children or young people in an educational, youth work, or community setting.A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to behaviour management.Good understanding of safeguarding, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing.Commitment to ongoing professional development and training opportunities.D
