My client, a boutique corporate finance house, is looking for a contractor to support on supporting on a buy-side Financial Due Diligence (FDD) project. They are looking for a German-speaking FDD Consultant to join the team on a full-time basis for circa 6 months. This will be an outside IR35 assignment, with an immediate start. The key requirement is strong German language capability, as the project will involve reviewing German-language financial documents and files, with the potential for some interaction with the target. The majority of calls are expected to be conducted in English, with German required where appropriate. Responsibilities Support the delivery of a buy-side Financial Due Diligence engagement. Analyse financial information, management accounts and underlying business performance. Review and interpret German-language financial documents and supporting materials. Assist with financial analysis across areas including revenue, profitability, working capital, net debt and cash flow. Identify key findings, risks and areas requiring further investigation. Support preparation of FDD analysis, schedules and client deliverables. Participate in calls with the target and wider deal team, switching between English and German where required. Work closely with the wider FDD team to deliver the project within a tight transaction timetable.
