1:1 Teaching Assistant - Complex Needs

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Eccles, who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with complex needs.

This is a full-time role starting ASAP and would suit someone who is patient, nurturing, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs to achieve their full potential.

The Role:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with complex needs
• Supporting the child''s learning, communication, and emotional development
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and outside professionals
• Adapting learning activities to meet the pupil''s individual needs
• Encouraging engagement, independence, and positive social interaction
• Supporting with personal care where required

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous experience supporting children with SEND or complex needs
• Be calm, caring, and resilient
• Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Be confident supporting pupils with additional learning or communication needs
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
