Pertemps Sheffield is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Container Drivers for ad hoc work based in Leeds.

This is a great opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking for flexible work with competitive pay and regular shifts available.

The Role:

• Driving HGV Class 1 (C E) vehicles transporting containers
  
  
• Collecting and delivering containers to ports, depots, and customer sites
  
  
• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring all paperwork is accurate
  
  
• Adhering to driver hours, WTD regulations, and road transport legislation
  
  
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
  
  
• Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely
  
  

• £17.00 per hour

• Ongoing support from the dedicated Pertemps Sheffield driving team
  
  

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C E) licence
  
  
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  
  
• Previous container driving experience is desirable but not essential
  
  
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, IN or CD endorsements)
  
  
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work
