CMM Inspector- Location: Hilsea, Portsmouth- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Day Shift)- Benefits: 5% Company Pension, Healthshield Cash Plan- Type: PermanentAn established and growing precision engineering business in the Portsmouth area is looking to recruit an experienced CMM Inspector to join its quality department on a permanent day shift.Operating across highly regulated industries including aerospace, defence, automotive and advanced manufacturing, the company provides high-precision machining, tooling and rubber moulding solutions, supporting customers from prototype and first-off manufacture through to full production.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong inspection background who enjoys working in a varied manufacturing environment where quality is critical.The Role:- Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection activities- Produce detailed inspection reports and documentation- Perform dimensional inspection of machined components using CMM equipment and conventional measuring tools- Support production teams to ensure products meet customer and quality requirements- Interpret engineering drawings, GDandT and customer specifications- Assist with investigation and resolution of quality issuesExperience Required:- Previous experience working as a CMM Inspector, Quality Inspector or Mechanical Inspector within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment- Experience using Romer/FARO Arm CMMs and associated inspection ..... full job details .....
