Freelance Site Engineer - Defence CivilsSouth Wiltshire£300-£350 per dayMinimum six month assignmentWe are recruiting a freelance Site Engineer to support a growing programme of civil engineering, groundworks and remediation projects across a secure defence estate in South Wiltshire.The initial assignment is expected to last at least six months, with a substantial pipeline of additional packages due to commence across several nearby sites.The programme includes: Civils and groundworks supporting a major new build projectRoads, footpaths and external worksDrainage and underground servicesConcrete slabs and foundationsEnabling and remediation worksAdditional smaller civils packages across the wider estate Responsibilities will include: Setting out and surveyingChecking drawings, levels and technical informationProducing accurate site records and as built informationCompleting QA documentation and inspection recordsMonitoring subcontractor and direct labour worksSupporting the Project Manager and site management teamIdentifying technical and design issuesEnsuring works comply with specifications and site procedures We are looking for: An experienced Site Engineer with a varied civil engineering backgroundStrong setting out experience across groundworks, drainage, concrete and external worksThe ability to support several concurrent or consecutive packagesGood knowledge of construction QA and site documentationA valid CSCS cardWillingness to travel between sites across South ..... full job details .....
