Lead Data Solution Architect 6-Month Contract Up to £475 per day Hybrid (2 Days per Week Onsite) Basildon, Essex A large global consultancy is seeking an experienced Lead Data Solution Architect to support a major enterprise-wide data transformation programme within a complex and regulated environment. This is a key architecture role focused on establishing the source-to-target data foundations required to enable future data platform delivery. You will lead source discovery, data profiling, modelling, and mapping activities, creating a repeatable framework that can be adopted across a broad data landscape. The position is focused on laying the architectural groundwork and implementation patterns required for long-term success, rather than delivering a complete transformation of the data estate. The Role As the Lead Data Solution Architect, you will take ownership of defining the approach for assessing source systems, profiling data, producing target models, and creating reusable source-to-target mappings. Working closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, data owners, and governance functions, you will establish standards and patterns that can be scaled across future delivery workstreams.
