Sector: Civil Engineering We re looking for a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 3 years'' experience to join our Derby-based civil engineering client. The business works across groundworks, drainage, reinforced concrete and external works projects, so you ll be supporting a varied mix of schemes rather than being tied to one type of work. The projects our clients work on vary from £100k - £5m value. The role will be split between the office and project sites. Standard hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. What we re looking for Minimum 3 years'' Quantity Surveying experience Previous civil engineering experience Good working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts A relevant Quantity Surveying qualification, such as a degree, HNC/HND or equivalent Experience with valuations, variations, cost reporting and subcontractor accounts Confident working across both office and site environments Full UK driving licence What you ll be doing Commercially supporting civil engineering projects from start through to final account Preparing valuations and applications for payment Managing variations and compensation events Monitoring project costs, forecasts and margins Managing subcontractor packages and accounts Working closely with site teams, project managers and clients ..... full job details .....
