What You''ll Do -

Responsible for running shifts and assisting (and deputizing for) the Store Manager (when absent) to make sure the store operates smoothly on a day-to-day basis including ensuring good availability of stock, adequate staff cover, store is clean and presented beautifully inside and out, quality checks are carried out, all maintenance issues are dealt with swiftlyResponsible for ensuring shift is handed over completely and correctly to next Shift Manager / Store ManagerResponsible for supervising the team and ensuring outstanding customer service is being deliveredResponsible for assisting the Store Manager to ensure maximum sales are generated with minimum wastage, paying attention to all daily and weekly targetsResponsible for making sure POS and labels are complete and in the correct placeResponsible for participating in training, development and supervision of the team, leading by exampleResponsible for supporting the Store Manager to ensure Health and Safety compliance with current legislation and with Company policyProvide great customer serviceProcess ambient, fresh, packaging, and consumable deliveriesDisplay and merchandise stockStock rotate, check sell by/use by dates and recordServe, process transactions and pack customers groceries in bagsDispose of waste to the correct containersPerform general cleaning duties
