Their firmware team is part of their software group and also works closely with the electronics engineers. They are looking for a highly experienced, senior engineer to join this team. Their product lines are based on high electromechanical precision, utilising firmware that drives motors, real time sensors and automated robotic systems. This is typically achieved using C / C++ embedded on ARM Cortex-M. As a Senior Engineer, you would work on multidisciplinary projects that include shipping firmware, integrating third-party modules, systems architecture, and interfacing with C#.NET code on the PC side. Requirements: Demonstrable and varied project experience in commercial grade embedded software / firmware development with expertise using C / C++ on ARM microcontrollers (ideally Cortex-M). This should include complicated and sophisticated electromechanical applications. Expertise at system level engineering including distributed microcontrollers, electronic communications and module integration.
