This role is focused on designing and delivering innovative solutions for the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), contributing to mission-critical systems and services.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and evolve system architecture for Maritime programmes, ensuring alignment with user needs and system requirements.Integrate Maritime Systems architecture with broader enterprise architecture across the programme.Conduct design impact assessments and trade-off analyses.Maintain and present design baselines at solution coherence reviews.Support the development of system verification and user validation test plans.Preferred Experience and QualificationsStrong understanding of MOD maintenance, equipment, and engineering processes.Familiarity with MOD standards including DEFSTAN and JSP.Experience in cloud architecture, preferably Microsoft Azure.Proficiency with enterprise architecture modelling tools (eg, Sparx EA, Mega, iServer).Knowledge of MOD Secure by Design principles.Proven ability to work independently in a matrixed organisation.Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.Experience in consultancy approach
