Content Creator
to join our experienced creative team at YesColours — the most colourful, innovative and community-driven paint company in the UK, with focus on sustainability and design-led colours that truly make us proud to say that #DifferentFeelsGood as disruptors in the decor industry.This role will be perfect for someone who’s proactive, creative, and passionate about bringing stories to life through video and content. We are looking for a creative self-starter with a sharp eye for detail, brand, design, visual storytelling, strong video editing skills, and the confidence to roll up their sleeves. You’ll be capturing behind-the-scenes moments at events, developing high-performing ad creative, and working closely with the marketing team to help plan content that aligns with our seasonal campaigns and brand mission.The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and editing engaging video and other creative content across social, web, blogs, newsletters and paid platforms; generating fresh content ideas. You’ll play a vital role in driving brand awareness, engagement, and conversion, helping us tell the YesColours story in original, and impactful ways.We’re proud to say that #DifferentFeelsGood as disruptors in the decor industry. Capture and edit video content for social, web and ads (Paid Media, Meta/Insta, Pinterest YouTube, TikTok)Attend events, client visits, and studio shoots to capture behind-the-scenes contentCreate compelling short-form video for organic and paid campaignsWork closely with Marketing to develop ad creative that drives conversion and brand storytellingContribute content ideas for upcoming launches, events, partnerships, and seasonal eventsCreate, manage and execute a content calendar planning for social, newsletters, and blogs that ties into the Marketing ScheduleExperience in using various design, creative and editing platforms to create visual contentSupport on writing and editing
Support the marketing team in writing ad captions, newsletter copy, blogs and website copy updatesCollaborate with Marketing and SEO to ensure content drives traffic and engagementQualifications
Must-have: Proven experience in video content creation and editing (portfolio required)Proficiency with editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva or similarExperience creating content - video, imagery, written and otherwise for both organic and paid socialA creative eye for filming and storytellingConfidence in attending live events and directing content on-siteSeniority level
