Site Foreman (Carpentry Background)

A growing commercial design & build contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Foreman with a carpentry background to support the delivery of projects across Birmingham and the Midlands.
 
Projects typically include restaurants, bars, hotels and office fit-outs, so experience within commercial refurbishment or interior fit-out environments would be highly beneficial.
 
This is a hands-on role where you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of site, coordinating trades and subcontractors, while also being willing to work on the tools on smaller projects when required.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of site operations
• Coordinating subcontractors and trades
• Maintaining health & safety and site standards
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification
• Supporting carpentry works on smaller projects while maintaining site oversight

• Strong carpentry/joinery background
• Experience supervising commercial fit-out or refurbishment sites
• SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS required
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Ability to lead on site while remaining hands-on when needed
