Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of HGVs, LGVs and other commercial vehicles to DVSA standards Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults Carry out inspections, MOT preparations, and road tests Ensure vehicles are maintained in a roadworthy and legal condition Booking MOTs at Various MOT Centres across Manchester. Maintain accurate service and repair records Respond to breakdowns as required using breakdown vehicle provided. Work collaboratively with workshop staff and management Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent (essential) Proven experience as an HGV mechanic or technician Strong understanding of HGV systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and diagnostics A valid HGV Class 1 licence is desirable but not essentia
