Senior Test Engineer - Electro-Optics/Electronics Clearance: SC requiredPositions: 2 We are seeking Senior Test Engineers to support the development and testing of advanced electro-optical and electronic products and test equipment within a major Aerospace andamp; Defence engineering environment in Basildon. The role will involve hands-on laboratory testing, test system development, instrumentation, diagnostics and verification across products incorporating electronic, mechanical, optical and software components. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute test strategies, procedures and test solutions. Support the design, integration and commissioning of test systems. Perform hands-on laboratory testing, measurement and diagnostics. Work with electrical and electro-optical test instrumentation and analyse test data. Support integration, verification and validation activities. Interpret product-level test requirements and contribute to structured engineering processes. Produce and review technical documentation, test procedures and user instructions. Work collaboratively with hardware, software, optical and systems engineers. Essential Experience HND or higher in Systems, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline. Practical experience in one or more of: Electrical testing Electro-optics Environmental testing Acoustic testing Hands-on lab-based testing, diagnostics and measurement.
