Overall Purpose: Provide technical leadership across all welding and materials engineering activities ensuring industry-leading quality, integrity, safety and efficiency from bid stage through to successful delivery.As the subject matter expert in welding engineering, you will play a critical role in business winning, execution, customer confidence and continuous technical improvement, directly influencing manufacturing quality, cost-efficiency and delivery performance.Key Duties: Business Winning and Customer Support:Support quotation and order kick-off stages with expert welding input to assess feasibility and identify qualification gaps or risks.Provide technical documentation and WPS/WPQR information for customer review and approval to support bids.Build and maintain strong technical relationships with key clients via internal and external meetings/site visits.Order Execution and Technical Ownership:Define all technical requirements for welding and NDT, ensuring alignment with customer, regulatory and code requirements.Select or develop WPS and qualify new WPQRs where required to enable manufacturing.Prepare and issue all welding documentation and data packs for production and customer approval.Resolve welding-related technical issues promptly to protect qu
