NEW VACANCY (PK8920)QUALITY CONTROLLERCommutable from Herts, Beds, Cambs, Suffolk and EssexSALARY DOEOur client is part of an International Printed Packaging Group with an impressive customer base divided between brands and contract manufacturers in many industries all demanding the very best quality of packaging.Operating both digital and flexo printing onsite, they have a current requirement for a QC Inspector to ensure that all products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements before leaving the production floor. This role is critical for maintaining high-quality output and minimising defects.Key ResponsibilitiesReduction in quality defects/rework.Timeliness and accuracy of inspection reports.Compliance with quality inspection schedules and standards.Key Skills and Qualifications:2+ years of experience in quality control, preferably in printing, packaging, or associated manufacturing industries.Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills.Familiarity with color standards (Pantone) and print quality criteria.Basic understanding of ISO standards, BRC and GMP guidelines.Proficiency in using measurement tools and recording data.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for long periods during inspection.Good eyesight (corrected if necessary) for detailed visual inspection.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally).
