Job Specification Senior Accountant - Godalming Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns and corporation tax returns for a portfolio of clients Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, payroll journals, VAT submissions and variance analysis Oversee tax compliance, including corporation tax returns and self-assessment filings Liaise with external auditors during year-end processes Provide commercial insights and build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams Mentor junior accountants and contribute to process improvements Experience and Skills Requirements ACA / ACCA / CIMA Proven experience (ideally 3+ years) in practice or industry finance Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with IRIS (e.g., Cashflow Manager, PAYE, CT) Experience in self-assessment tax returns and corporation tax returns Strong organizational, communication and analytical abilities If you have not been contacted within 5 working days, then unfortunately on this occasion your CV has not been shortlisted.
