This includes helping to create a brand new plan for the borough, managing neighbourhood plans, progressing other strategic planning projects and involvement in the South Essex joint strategic plan.Decisiveness and ambition for our borough are key qualities in this role so that you discharge our important statutory functions, play a key role in advising on and facilitating effective service delivery.A keen collaborator and team player, you will also have the ability to work across the planning function of the Council; with the opportunity to work within the development management, enforcement and strategic policy and implementation teams. As a strong communicator, verbal and written, you will undertake all areas of planning for the local authority, including attending developer meetings and committees.Responsibilities
