Abatec is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join the team on the prestigious Devonport Dockyard Project in Plymouth. This project plays a critical role in the refurbishment and enhancement of key facilities at one of the Royal Navy s most significant dockyards. The successful candidate will lead site-based activities, ensuring that the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Lead and manage a team of Engineers, Supervisors, and subcontractors. Liaise with the Project Manager, design teams, and client representatives. Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the contract programme and specifications. Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures. Manage permits to work and ensure adherence to security and safety protocols within a high-security environment. Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress updates. Support the development of junior staff through mentoring and guidance. Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Agent (or similar role) on complex infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
