What you will do

Conduct thorough assessments and develop bespoke care plans for individuals dealing with substance misuse.

Prescribe appropriate medications and monitor their efficacy as part of the treatment strategy.

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and coordination for service users.

Deliver educational sessions to patients and their families to promote understanding of substance misuse and recovery options.

Maintain detailed and accurate records to ensure the highest standard of care and compliance.

Requirements of the Non-Medical Prescriber

You should have recent experience as a Non-Medical Prescriber or in fields related to substance misuse, such as addiction or drug and alcohol recovery.

An active NMC Registration is essential.

Hold a degree or equivalent in Nursing, equipping you with the knowledge to provide high-quality care.
