Patient Liaison Officer (Private Healthcare experience is required)

Location: Marylebone, London
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary
Duration: Ongoing position
Pay Rate: -16.0017.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday , 40 hours a week (shifts between 8:00am - 8:00pm)

Overview

We are seeking a polished and professional Front of House and Patient Coordinator with private health care experience to join a busy private healthcare setting in Oxford Circus.

This role is heavily front of house focused, with a strong emphasis on delivering an exceptional patient experience, alongside supporting booking and administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner
  • Manage incoming calls, direct enquiries, and support patient flow
  • Handle general administration including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure adherence to all policies and procedures
  • Provide a high level of customer service with empathy and professionalism
  • Coordinate and manage patient appointments via electronic medical records systems
  • Verify patient details and ensure accurate data capture
  • Support with patient queries via phone, email, and online systems
  • Assist with documentation, records, and follow-up communications
  • Work collaboratively across reception and admin functions as required
  • Support self-pay patient enquiries and assist with appointment bookings
  • Provide information on services, pricing, and next steps
  • Follow up with patients post-consultation
  • Track bookings and support reporting on activity and KPIs
  • Assist with events and patient engagement initiatives

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience within private healthcare is essential within a front of house, reception, patient coordination or administrative position
  • Basic DBS required (must have have a valid certificate, be on the update service or be willing to get one immediately)
  • Strong customer service skills across phone, email, and face-to-face
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, front-facing environment
  • Good IT skills including MS Office and patient record systems
