V7 Recruitment is seeking an experienced

Fire Stopping Contracts Manager

to support an industry-leading passive fire protection contractor. This is a subcontract role on a

day-rate basis , offering the flexibility of hybrid working with a mix of remote management and site-based responsibilities across the Midlands region.Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee multiple fire stopping projects, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest compliance standards.Carry out site visits to monitor progress, conduct inspections, and liaise with clients, site teams, and subcontractors.Review and approve RAMS, drawings, and compliance documentation, ensuring works meet passive fire protection regulations.Coordinate with site supervisors, operatives, and subcontractors to maintain smooth delivery across projects.Identify and resolve project challenges quickly and effectively, providing solutions to keep works on track.Produce and maintain accurate progress reports, updating clients and internal stakeholders.Ensure all works meet third-party accreditation and certification standards.Enforce health and safety requirements on site, promoting a safe working culture.Key Requirements

Strong background in

passive fire protection

with specific experience in

fire stopping .Proven track record of managing fire stopping projects in a contracts or project management capacity.Excellent understanding of compliance, certification, and industry standards (e.g. FIRAS, IFC).Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing site visits with remote coordination.Strong communication and leadership skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and site teams.Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Midlands region.Available for an
