Estimator Location: Salford Quays Salary: Circa £55,000 per annum + benefits An established and successful commercial office fit-out and refurbishment contractor is looking to recruit an Estimator to join its growing team in Salford Quays. With over 35 years of industry experience, the business delivers high-quality office fit-out and refurbishment projects across the UK, with the majority of work located throughout Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator with around 4-5 years'' experience to play a key role within a close-knit team and develop their career as the company continues to grow. The Role As Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive tenders for commercial office fit-out and refurbishment projects. Key responsibilities will include: Reviewing tender documents, drawings and specifications to fully understand project requirements. Carrying out take-offs and preparing detailed cost estimates. Obtaining, reviewing and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations. Identifying any gaps, risks or value engineering opportunities within tender submissions. Attending site visits and raising technical queries where required. Working closely with commercial and operational teams to develop competitive tender returns. Supporting tender negotiations and assisting with the successful handover of secured projects to delivery teams.
