Financial Controller Annual Salary: £70-85k Job Type: Full-time ( hybrid after probation period of 3 months) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded Qualified Financial Controller to join a leading innovative technology division. This dynamic role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the chance to influence strategic decision-making across the business. Day-to-day of the role: Lead the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis. Provide financial and commercial support to divisional leadership, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve business performance. Oversee key finance functions, including treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets. Prepare and review monthly forecasts, annual budgets, profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reporting. Manage statutory accounts preparation, external audits, and corporate compliance requirements. Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, IFRS/US GAAP requirements, and corporate reporting guidelines. Manage tax and VAT compliance activities, working closely with external advisers where required. Support and develop a Financial Accountant, providing coaching and guidance. Lead finance-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the division.
