Building Surveyor Hourly Rate: 22.65 PAYE per hourLocation: Welwyn and HatfieldJob Type: Temporary (12 weeks)Hours: 37 hours per week (full-time)We are seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to provide temporary cover within a local authority within the Resident and Climate Change team. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards in building safety and efficiency, aligning with current regulations and standards.Day-to-day of the role:Conduct thorough building fault diagnosis and develop cost-effective solutions.Prepare detailed specifications for repairs and renovations.Make informed technical decisions and solve problems effectively.Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, including CDM and Building Safety Compliance legislation.Regularly update knowledge of building regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure all work is compliant.Required Skills and Qualifications:BTEC ONC and HNC in Building Studies or substantial experience in a similar role.Evidence of continual professional development in construction, health, and safety-related disciplines.Up-to-date knowledge of current building regulations and standards.Significant experience in building fault diagnosis and providing cost-effective solutions.Fully conversant with Health and Safety, Building Safety Compliance legislation, and Building Regulations.A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use are essential.To apply for this role please submit your application with
