You''ll be undertaking a variety of processes including the assembly and inspection operations to produce and test cables, pipes, high pressure hoses and gun components as part of seat assembly that will contribute to the success of the ejector seats produced onsite, to ultimately save lives.Aspects of the role include to:Manufacture cables and high-pressure hoses in accordance with the process specification including.Selection of the specified diameter hoseCut to length using the tools and attach specified end fittingCover in heat shrinkable material and shrink to PS417 standardMake reusable hoses using assembly/crimp machine and gaugesSwage end fittings in accordance with the process specification and conduct proof of load in accordance with PS1109 Characteristics and SkillsExperience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings.Basic manufacturing/engineering background.Background in HandS policies and procedures / QAI''s and COSHH regulations.Basic understanding of measuring equipmentSAP experience, desirableFamiliar with engineering hand tools Your benefits in detailHighly competitive 9% non-contributory pension scheme4x salary ..... full job details .....
