We are working with an established, growing main contractor who is looking to appoint a hands on Site Manager to join their team. This opportunity would suit someone who has progressed from a trades or Working Foreman background and enjoys being closely involved in the day to day running of projects. The business delivers a varied portfolio of construction, refurbishment and commercial projects, typically ranging up to 3m to 5m. Unlike larger contractors, this is a business where Site Managers are expected to take ownership, use their initiative and get involved rather than rely on multiple layers of management and support. The Role: Overseeing projects from start through to completion Taking a hands-on approach to day-to-day site operations Managing subcontractors, trades and site activities Coordinating materials, labour and programmes Maintaining high standards of health and safety and quality Problem solving and making decisions independently Working closely with the directors to ensure successful project delivery What We''re Looking For: Ideally a trades or Working Foreman background with progression into Site Management Experience delivering projects up to 3m to 5m Comfortable working within a smaller contractor environment Someone proactive, practical and happy to get stuck in Able to work independently without extensive management support Strong subcontractor management and organisational skills SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid preferred ..... full job details .....
