• Previous experience working in a residential setting with young people
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Strong communication skills
• PVG scheme registration
• Full driving license (preferred)

What will you be doing?

As a Residential Childcare Worker, your day-to-day tasks will involve providing 24-hour care to vulnerable young people. You''ll be responsible for ensuring their health, hygiene, and safety, and managing challenging behaviors with appropriate strategies.

• Providing 24-hour care, meeting children''s health, hygiene, and safety needs.
• Managing challenging behaviors using appropriate strategies.
• Administering medication and maintaining professional standards.
• Assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and supervision of activities.
• Supporting educational needs and teaching essential life skills.
