Chef de Partie

Location: Bedfordshire
Salary: £31,948.80 Hours: 40 hours a week
Shifts: 3-shift rota, with shifts ranging between 6am and 10pm

Contract: Permanent

We’re recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join a well-established hospitality business within Bedfordshire.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a modern, fast-paced kitchen where you’ll have responsibility for your own section, work with a supportive team and be part of a business that genuinely invests in its people.

The role

Working within a busy kitchen environment, you’ll be:

• Managing your own section and preparing food to a consistently high standard
• Supporting smooth and efficient service during busy periods
• Ensuring food hygiene and Health & Safety standards are maintained
• Supporting and supervising more junior members of the kitchen team
• Assisting with stock management and deliveries
• Working closely with the wider team to deliver a great customer experience

What we’re looking for

We’d love to speak with experienced Chef de Parties, but we’re equally open to an enthusiastic Commis Chef who is ready to take the next step.

You’ll be someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, works well under pressure and, most importantly, is a genuine team player.

Hours

You’ll work 40 hours per week across a mixture of early, mid and late shifts.

As this is hospitality, the rota will include some evenings and weekends, however the business is really conscious of work-life balance and works hard to ensure rotas are fair and days off are grouped together wherever possible.
