Service Engineer / Service Technician / Machine Tool Engineer required for a distributor of CNC machine tools.

The successful Service Engineer / Service Technician / Machine Tool Engineer will work remotely, repairing, servicing, maintaining and installing CNC machine tools, lathes, turning centres, milling machines, machining centres and grinding machines at customer sites across the UK, predominantly around the Midlands region.

The Service Engineer / Service Technician / Machine Tool Engineer will ideally live in the Midlands and have prior experience servicing CNC machine tools however product training will be provided.

• Working remotely, repairing, servicing, maintaining and installing CNC machine tools, lathes, turning centres, milling machines, machining centres and grinding machines at customer sites across the UK, predominantly around the Midlands. Product training provided.
• Perform electrical and mechanical fault finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance of various CNC machine tools.
• Build good relationships with customers and provide a professional and friendly service.
• Reporting to the Service Manager.
• Remote position covering the UK, predominantly the Midlands and surrounding areas.

• A technical qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering is advantageous although not a requirement if you have relevant work experience.
• Ideally have prior experience repairing, servicing, maintaining or installing CNC machine tools, lathes, turning centres, milling machines, machining centres, grinding machines or similar CNC machinery however product training is provided.
• Full UK Driving licence.
• Willingness to meet with customers across the UK.
• Ideally located in the Midlands or surrounding areas.
