Are you a Quality Engineer with experience in Rail Engineering or Manufacturing, looking to take ownership of Quality Management Systems within an established technical business?

Do you have experience managing ISO 9001 compliance, and are now looking for a varied position where you will lead quality audits, manage non-conformances and drive continuous improvement while working closely with senior management?

The company are an established engineering business operates within the Rail and Manufacturing sectors, supplying products and services to customers with demanding technical, quality and regulatory requirements.

Working within a highly regulated industry, the company places a strong emphasis on quality assurance, customer satisfaction and maintaining compliance with recognised industry standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to take ownership of the company''s Quality Management System, manage rail industry compliance and lead quality improvement initiatives.

The Role:

• Manage and maintain the company''s ISO 9001 Quality Management System
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external quality-related matters
• Take responsibility for Sentinel / PTS management and compliance within the RISQS framework
• Maintain quality procedures, documentation and business processes
• Lead regular quality meetings and coordinate quality improvement activities

The Person:

• Quality Engineer / Inspection experience
• Background in rail or electronics
• Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
