Through active collaboration and oversight, the role drives alignment and adoption of best practices across regions and business units, setting clear expectations for efficiency, safety, and reliability. By establishing the training strategy and competency framework for all maintenance staff, the role ensures a highly skilled workforce capable of meeting evolving operational demands. are:Create and maintain a company maintenance standards policy and procedures manualImplement maintenance standards consistently across the organisation and verify their adoption through oversight, surveillance, and on-site engagementDefine and set the maintenance training policy and standards, ensuring effective training programmes, competency assurance, and continuous professional development for all maintenance staffEstablish and manage control metrics and KPIs to monitor compliance, adherence, and performance against maintenance standardsLead the maintenance organisation in achieving operational excellence, maximising aircraft availability and utilisation while minimising downtimeChampion standardisation, integration of modern technologies, and continuous improvement to deliver efficiency gains and cost savingsLead and support a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of engagement, collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountabilityExemplify and promote the Company Core Values: Accountability, Collaboration, Care, Integrity, and ExcellenceThe ideal candidate will have the following:Proven experience in the performance of maintenanceExperience as a nominated person demonstrating regulatory complianceDemonstrable experience in implementing standards throughout a maintenance organisationA passion for effective maintenance trainingLeadership experience supporting a team of professionals, fostering engagement, collaboration, and high performanceAbility to manage effective metrics and KPIs to demonstrate compliance and drive continuous improvementProven ability to deliver operational standards ensuring excellenceStrong collaboration skills at all organisational levelsInquisitive, respectful, and receptive to input and feedbackDecision-making aligned with company interestsAbility to build and maintain relationships across staff, peers, and managementInspiring leadership to motivate teams and deliver excellencePassion for effective maintenance trainingCapability to deliver solutions for aircraft availability and utilisationSkill in identifying and implementing business solutions for standards and complianceCommitment to fostering a safety culture throughout the organisationRespect for global cultural diversity
