Provide consultations, diagnoses, treatments, and referrals for patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed health concerns.Provide preventative care, health education, screening, and advice on lifestyle changes.Prescribe and review medication according to evidence-based practice and national/local guidelines.Conduct telephone consultations when appropriate.Respond to medical emergencies within the practice.Make home visits when clinically necessary.Participate in the review of significant events and clinical audits.Participate in Clinical and Practice meetings.Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely patient records using the practices clinical system EMIS.Complete and review medical reports, referrals, forms and correspondence.Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to the development of protocols and guidelinesAssist in ensuring the practice meets QOF, enhanced services, and other contractual targets.Person Specification
