Sounds great, what will I be doing? As a Recovery Worker, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support to individuals experiencing mental health crises, both face-to-face and by telephone, creating a safe and inclusive environment. You will assess immediate needs and risks, use de-escalation techniques, and provide emotional and practical support tailored to each individual. Working collaboratively with service users, you will develop safety plans, coping strategies, and appropriate onward referrals. You will liaise closely with NHS teams, emergency services, and community partners to coordinate effective support, while facilitating group and peer activities. You will maintain accurate records, participate in reflective practice, and work flexibly across services, including regular weekends. What do I need to bring with me?
