Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Student Health and Medical Support Lead to join our Safeguarding and Wellbeing team on a full-time, permanent basis over 41 Term Time Only weeks.Student Health and Medical LeadThe Student Health and Medical Support Lead is a full-time, term-time role (37 hours per week over 41 weeks) on Support Pay Scale L providing a salary between L,830.73 and L,655.89 (L,096 and L,165 FTE).The Student Health and Medical Support Lead reports to the Group Director of Safeguarding and Wellbeing working across all college campuses. As the accountable lead for student health, the post-holder oversees medical room operations, conducts clinical assessments, and authors Individual Healthcare Plans (IHPs) for students with complex medical needs.Core operational duties include administering prescribed medications, acting as the lead responder for on-site medical emergencies, managing return-to-study reintegration plans, and maintaining strict governance over medication storage, clinical audits, and confidential UK GDPR-compliant health records.Strategically, the post-holder leads health policy compliance by aligning procedures with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), the SEND Code of Practice, and the Equality Act 2010, while managing health-related safeguarding concerns and multi-agency partnerships with external NHS services.
