About the School CCS are seeking a passionate, dedicated and child-focused Science Teacher to join a specialist SEN school where every student is supported to reach their full potential. The school supports students with a range of additional needs, with most students having Autism and some also presenting with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are looking for a teacher who understands that every child learns differently and is committed to creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where students feel valued, supported and able to succeed. The Role As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging General Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, adapting your teaching to meet the individual needs, abilities and learning styles of your students. You will break down complex scientific concepts into manageable steps, making learning accessible, meaningful and enjoyable. Through patience, creativity and a flexible approach, you will help students develop their scientific knowledge, build confidence and achieve their potential. Building positive relationships will be at the heart of this role. We want someone who takes the time to understand each student as an individual, recognises their strengths and challenges, and adapts their approach to help them feel safe, included and ready to learn.
