Head of Supply Chain Location: Hull Salary: Up to 65,000 + Benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced supply chain professional to join a growing manufacturing business as Head of Supply Chain. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will take ownership of the end-to-end supply chain function, leading procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory management activities to ensure operational excellence, cost efficiency and exceptional customer service. This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategy, strengthening supplier relationships, improving logistics performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the business. Key Responsibilities Lead the purchasing and supply of raw materials, packaging and consumables, ensuring cost-effective procurement and continuity of supply. Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, pricing agreements and service level expectations. Drive supply chain planning activities, ensuring inventory levels, forecasting accuracy and working capital objectives are achieved. Take responsibility for inbound and outbound logistics operations, managing third-party logistics providers and transport partners. Oversee warehouse operations, stock control and inventory management, ensuring efficient processes and stock accuracy.
