Bid Manager

Bid Manager Home Counties My client is a leading waste/recycling services company who have a new role available for a Bid Manager based in Home Counties. The purpose of the role is to identify business development opportunities in the public and private sectors in line with Company strategy, to include work from existing and new customers and to lead and manage the day-to-day aspects of live bids, from pre-qualification to mobilisation. This role works cross functionally to engage with all areas who will deliver future services. Some of your responsibilities will be, but not limited to; Identifying and assessing suitability of new bid opportunities through the monitoring of Local Authority and Waste Procurement websites and portals; following up on senior management directed leads; Having identified key risks and opportunities, prepare and deliver findings and bid recommendations to the senior management team, liaising with them to gain support and approval for new tenders; Lead on the preparation, presentation and submission to Board of proposed bidding strategies to include details of any proposed subcontractors; Lead and own the cradle to grave bid management process, ensuring resources are coordinated to complete all bids within relevant timelines; preparation and submission of pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs); coordinating waste industry-level research to help inform the pipeline of opportunities, develop innovative solutions and deepen knowledge and understandin
