SR141 Commissioning Engineer - Protection and ControlLocation: Stone Head Office and UK Client Sites Sector: Energy / HV SubstationsAbout the RoleWe are looking for an enthusiastic and driven SR141 Authorised Commissioning Engineer to join our Energy Business. You will be responsible for testing and commissioning Electrical Protection and Control systems, ranging from modifications of existing systems to full replacement and new-build installations.This role is suited to experienced National Grid SR141-authorised Commissioning Engineers who are confident working within HV substation environments. The position will be based between our Stone Head Office and client sites across the UK.You will play a key role in leading commissioning activities, working closely with customers, project managers and site teams, and contributing to the development of commissioning documentation and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and carry out site acceptance testing and commissioning of Protection and Control systems within HV substations, in line with approved documentation, procedures and SR141 authorisationPerform functional and performance testing of protection relays, control systems, control panels and associated secondary equipmentWitness and support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activitiesEnsure all installation, testing and commissioning works comply with agreed technical procedures, standards and National Grid requirementsAttend and contribute to National Grid SR106 Commissioning
