• Psychology, Criminology or Sociology graduates looking to gain experience working with children.

• Individuals considering a future career in social work, education, counselling or child development.

• Candidates with sports coaching or other coaching experience who enjoy motivating and supporting young people.

• Applicants with previous experience working with children or young people.

• Caring, patient and adaptable individuals who want to make a positive difference to pupils'' lives.

Previous school experience is beneficial but not essential for every opportunity. Transferable skills, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are equally valuable.

• Key Stage 1 (KS1): Helping younger pupils develop their learning, confidence and social skills.

• Key Stage 2 (KS2): Supporting pupils with classroom activities, academic progress and independence.

• Long-term roles: Providing consistent support to pupils and teaching staff.

• Short-term and temporary assignments: Gaining experience across different school settings and placements.

Duties may include supporting individual pupils, assisting small groups, helping deliver classroom activities, encouraging positive behaviour and contributing to a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.

• A positive, patient and flexible approach.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• A genuine interest in children''s learning, development and wellbeing.

• Willingness to work across different schools where required.

• A valid DBS certificate or willingness to apply for a new one. We can provide links to help you complete the DBS application process.

• Drivers are preferred, particularly for candidates who may need to travel between school placements.

• Working pattern: Full-time preferred; part-time opportunities also available

• Placements: KS1, KS2, long-term, short-term and temporary roles

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate''s qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client''s pay policy.
