This is a full-time position with an immediate start and strong long-term potential for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activitiesSupport pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needsHelp create an inclusive and engaging learning environmentMonitor and report on pupil progressPromote positive behaviour and support individual learning plans (EHCPs where applicable)Requirements:Previous experience working within a school or SEND environment is highly desirableStrong understanding of SEND needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or similarA valid DBS on the Update Service (UDS), or willingness to obtain a new oneExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA patient, empathetic, and proactive approachTransferable Skills / Experience:Experience in care, youth work, support work, or similar rolesBackground in psychology, education, or child developmentExperience supporting individuals with additional needs in any settingStrong behaviour management and relationship-building skillsAbility to adapt to different learning styles and needsThis is a ..... full job details .....
