Goods-In Operative (Container Loading and Unloading) Job Overview We are looking for reliable and hardworking Goods-In Operatives to join our warehouse team. This role involves loading and unloading shipping containers, receiving goods, and ensuring stock is processed accurately and efficiently.Please note: This is a physically demanding role. Candidates must be comfortable with manual handling, repetitive lifting, and being on their feet for the majority of the shift.Key Responsibilities Unload inbound shipping containers safely and efficiently.Load outbound containers and vehicles according to operational requirements.Move, sort, and stack products within the warehouse.Check deliveries against paperwork and report any discrepancies.Inspect goods for damage and notify supervisors of any issues.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.Support other warehouse activities as required. Physical Requirements This role involves: Regular manual handling and heavy lifting.Continuous standing, walking, bending, and stretching throughout the shift.Repetitive movements when unloading and sorting products.Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Handling goods of varying sizes and weights.
