Our client, a growing engineering services organisation within the defence and security sector, is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to establish and lead an electronics capability for high-integrity and safety-critical applications. This permanent role is based in Worcester on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of three days per week in the office, subject to project requirements.Key Responsibilities:Leading electronics architecture, design, analysis, verification and delivery across multiple projectsActing as the technical authority for electronics projects, supporting task definition, estimates, compliance and resource allocationDeveloping practical processes and procedures for high-integrity electronics design and certificationEnsuring compliance with applicable standards, including DO-254 and equivalent requirements across other regulated industriesManaging technical risks, project quality, schedules and delivery outcomes, escalating issues and mitigation actions where requiredDefining the facilities, tools, processes, skills and supply-chain partnerships required to grow the electronics capabilitySupporting the recruitment, development and mentoring of an electronics engineering team as the workload expandsWorking with sales teams on technical bids, client presentations, estimates and the development of new electronics servicesJob Requirements:Engineering or technical degree, with experience in a senior electronics engineering or technical leadership positionStrong ..... full job details .....
