Due to an expansion in our service we have exciting opportunities to support the Children’s Community Nursing Service in providing respite care, supporting outpatients clinics and special needs schools and some aspects of clinical care under the guidance of the registered nurse. To work as part of the Children’s Community Nursing Team by supporting the registered nurse in delivering a high standard of care to the child/young person and their family. To work as part of the nursing and multi-disciplinary team in the child’s own home and other establishments under the direction of a Community Children’s Nursing Borough Manager.Responsibilities

To work as part of the CCNS by supporting the registered nurse in delivering a high standard of care to the child/young person and their family.All necessary training will be given and the successful candidates will be supported to develop their knowledge, experience and skills. Essential criteriaLevel III qualification in health and social care or childcare.Previous experience in healthcareDesirable criteriaPrevious experience working with children/young people and children with complex healthcare needs.Knowledge and skills
